We got a new car!

Ryan and I decided with the price of gas steadily increasing it was time to down size into a smaller car. We traded in the Avalanche for this 2008 Dodge Caliber. It is supposed to get great gas mileage and with Dodge's incentives, like the $2.99/gal. gas card, 3 year bumper to bumper warranty and the lifetime power train warranty, it just seemed like a good thing. Yes I know I sound like an advertisement, I am just trying to convince myself that we did the right thing in buying a brand new car.
I do really like it though. It is so much easier to park, especially here where spaces aren't always kind to large SUV's, dang tree huggers! Ha ha.

The Fort Courtesy Cardboard and Duct Tape

Ryan's new seat cover came in the huge box the other day. A waste of space since the seat cover took up just less than half of the box, but what a great fort for Jack. Ryan cut shapes in the sides for windows and taped the flaps open. Jack loves it. He crawls in and out, puts toys in, and uses it as a garage for his trucks. He also likes to push it around.

The Park

Oops didn't get that last one turned and I have no idea how to do it on here. Yesterday morning was beautiful here, today not so much. We took Jack to the park and let him toddle around, play on the equipment and eat some bark. He had a great time, he really loves the slide.
