Our Christmas Lights!

Boy has it been snowing! We have about 9 inches on the ground. It is really pretty right now, we are supposed to get rain on Christmas, so we are trying to enjoy the fluffy snow as much as we can. We built a snowman and forced Jack into making a snow angel. He was not impressed with us. Ah memories. Hopefully we'll get some daylight pictures of the snow before it is gone.

Christmas Tree

Our tree.
Sunset from the tree farm.

More sunset.

Jack!

Jack ready to drive yet again.
Wow! Another post within days of the last. Scary! We went to the tree farm today after Ryan got home from work. We tromped around looking for the perfect tree and of course forgetting that the camera was in Ryan's coat pocket the whole time. So we snapped a few quick pictures when we got back to the truck. We don't often get to see a sunset here due to the massively tall trees, so we were impressed with today's. Hope the holidays are happy and bright for all. Merry Christmas!

Yard Work

Jack ready to go for a drive.

Daddy getting Jack dressed for outside.
Last weekend we raked leaves. Jack enjoyed tromping through everything and hitching a ride from Daddy on the rake. It's like tubing, but without the snow. We even remembered to bring the camera outside with us and took about 50 pictures of the same pose. I decided to just pick the cutest pictures and save myself some downloading time.

Jack rowing.

Jack blowing out the candle.
Ok so the first two pictures are from our trip to Phoenix this fall. Ryan was supposed to be in charge of the camera, but unfortunately he isn't any better at remembering to take pictures than I am. So we have one picture of Jack with Ryan's sister to show for a week in Phoenix, and one picture of our pre-flight snack. We had a wonderful time seeing Ryan's family and touring some of the local sights.
The last two pictures are just random from the month of November. Jack has watched me row all of once and is a master now. As for candles they are behind the safety gate surrounding the wood stove, not because we are afraid he will burn himself, but more so the candle has a chance of continuing to burn.

Halloween Finally

Jack and Madison.
Unfortunately one of the better pictures of Jack's costume.

Grandma helping Jack get dressed.
So I know these pictures are horribly late and not all that great. Jack went as a pirate for Halloween. He was going to be the headless horseman, but didn't want anything to do with the stick horse, so mommy improvised.
By the time Jack was dressed he was way too wound up to hold still for a decent picture. Hopefully next year will be better.

Its a Girl!

The Family went to the Doctor's office today! It was time for Jill's first ultrasound (Round 2).

The official prognosis is a healthy baby GIRL. Everything was A O K. She is about 9 oz. and looks to be on schedule for the last week in April. Anyway here are some ultrasound printouts!
(Don't ask me what some of these are, unless its labled...)

Pumpkins!

Well, we finally too time to carve up our Pumpkins! Jack had a great time. We cut the top off for him and he went to work clearing out the inside. Of course we did have to scoop some of the seeds out of his mouth. The pumpkins turned out great, Jill's best pumpkin ever! Jack had a good time blowing out the candles, it was hard to keep them lit.

I hope you all had a great Halloween!

Pumpkin Patch

Jack's tent.
Jack chillin' in the tent.
Bigfoot baby!
We went to a local pumpkin patch to supplement those that we grew this year. We only got 2 pumpkins, I got a little carried away with the pruning, oops. Jack is wearing his new boots, which he loves, he wants to wear them everywhere we go.
His tent has been set up in the living room for a week or so now and he still likes hiding out in it, like when it is nap time and he doesn't want to go down. Jack is also really into yanking the cushions off the couch. Ryan and he were wrestling among them the other night and this is Jack taking a break.

Holy Terror!

Jack has really upped his game lately. He is getting into way more things and it seems that he is gaining in stamina as I am beginning to want to nap more and more. Gosh, pregnancy was so much easier when I was all alone at the lookout.

Most of these are just random pictures. Jack brushing his teeth, he loves to have his tongue brushed. Homer sacked out in the kitchen, he sneaked in one day during nap time. Jack likes to lay on Bob the Bear in random places, like the deck and in the kitchen corner. Bob getting a swirly. The Wheat Thins had been left on the table from lunch and apparently Jack was hungry. I turned my back for about 5 seconds and found him opening the box, so I took a picture and before I could put the camera down and help him, Jack had pulled the bag out and upended it on the table. He is quick! And finally Ryan has taught Jack the joys of cookie dough and it is one lesson he has taken to heart.

Peanut in the Nose

Sorry there are no new pictures. All the adorable things he's been doing of late have been out of camera range. This afternoon, during snack, Jack shoved a peanut up his nose. Oh boy. I was easily able to work it back out, thank goodness, and now have resolved to watch the little monster much closer until he hopefully finishes this phase of discovery.

Jack has also started moon walking. Yes that's right, while he is dancing to whatever tune is playing, the chicken wing elbow starts going and back back back he goes. It is so funny, I really wish we could catch it for you all.

We have been taking daily walks for the past couple months and on our route there are several dogs. Most have grown used to us and barely bother to look at us, but those that still bark get barked at in return. Jack has decided barking is great fun. At least he's not afraid of them.

We hope you are all doing well and I will try to get Jack's funniest moment to date caught on tape.

Road Trip and Camping

Leavenworth, WA (Part of it anyway.)
Jack packed in with all the other stuff.
Campsite.

Lake Chelan at sunrise.
Ryan at breakfast.
Jack did really well eating his plastic fork.
Home sweet home.
Jack catching up on his sleep.

Diablo Lake.
This past weekend we took a road trip around the Cascade Loop, stopping Saturday night to camp at Lake Chelan. We had a great time. This camping trip was so much better than our first try. We left the dogs at home and remembered everything except pillows. Oh well can't win them all. Saturday night Jack was way too excited about sleeping in the tent on an air mattress with Mom and Dad. He didn't sleep until about midnight. Ryan ended up on the ground wedged between the tent wall and the mattress. Jack takes up a lot of space evidently.
We saw some beautiful views and covered a fair distance. It was a great trip overall. Hope everyone is doing well.
